The
Tides Playa del Carmen

Playa del Carmen, Mexico
Playa del Carmen will soon have its first five-star
resort with a full complement of luxury amenities.
The Tides Playa del Carmen will span eight magnificent
oceanfront acres. The resort will offer everything
a guest could want in a tropical vacation getaway:
Described
as the "style capital of the Riviera Maya"
by Travel & Leisure magazine, Playa del Carmen
was has a long history as a quiet fishing village
with Mayan roots.
It is located in the northern coastal zone of the
Yucatan Peninsula. It serves as a port to Cozumel,
a popular dive center, which is just a 40-minute
ferry ride away.

Over the years Playa del Carmen has developed into
an increasingly sophisticated town, offering a wide
array of dining and entertainment choices. Travelers
enjoy scuba diving, fishing, swimming, and exploring
the ruins, as well as visiting nearby eco-tourism
destinations. A Greg Norman signature golf course
is also nearby.
The Kor Group is the developer for The Tides Playa
del Carmen. It is known for its collection of distinctive
hotels. The architect is Ricardo Legorreta, often
cited as Mexico's greatest living designer.
The Tides Playa del Carmen will be located on the
beach that ends at Calle 26, which is within easy
walking distance of exciting Quinta Avenida, a pedestrian-only
area with exciting nightlife, fine dining and upscale
shopping.

It offers an opportunity to own beachfront real
estate in an exotic, peaceful setting. A variety
of floor plans is available in studios, one-, two-
and three-bedroom suites, ranging from 750 to 3,000
square feet.
The individual condo hotel units will offer spectacular
views of the Caribbean Sea and the Island of Cozumel.
Construction begins in late 2007 and is expected
to be complete by late 2009. Prices range from $575,000
to $2,990,000.
