Ocean Resort Baja Mexico is being developed by two
groups, the Trump Organization and the Irongate
company. Irongate is an L.A.-based development company
that has also successfully partnered with Trump
on the Trump Tower Waikiki project.
Trump
Ocean Resort Baja Mexico will feature studio, one-,
two-, and three-bedroom condo hotel units, from
700 sq. ft. to 4,500 sq. ft.
All
suites will have contemporary outdoor living spaces
that capitalize on the exceptional views of the
Pacific Ocean and nearby Coronado Islands. They
will be fully furnished and will include only the
best appliances and finishes.
Construction
started in early 2007. The first and second towers
are expected to be complete by late 2008. Build-out
of the resort (all three towers) will take a maximum
of four years.
The
first building of Trump Baja, called the Lobby Tower,
is sold out. In fact, the development set a record
for the highest single-day residential sales in
Mexico at $120 million. Those buyers who moved quickly
were able to secure units in this first tower. Many
hopeful buyers were shut out.
Now,
finally, the second building, called the Spa, has
been released. It too, is selling fast, so buyers
who are sincerely interested in owning a condo hotel
unit in Trump Baja, should act now. Prices start
